Bionaire Dehumidifier Filters – Replacing Them Is Important

Here are a couple of tips to clean your filter. This is a generic procedure, so you can still follow these tips even if you don’t have Bionaire humidifier filters. Make sure to unplug the dehumidifier before you do anything. Remove and empty the water-holding tank. Remove the front and back grill. Use a solution of soapy water and bleach to thoroughly clean the dehumidifier filter. Thirty minutes should be adequate. If you don’t have bleach in the house, you can also use a vinegar solution. Brush the filter lightly with a soft brush to remove the dirt. Rinse thoroughly and dry. That’s it!
