How to find the right Honeywell filter for your air purifier

Honeywell’s Enviracaire range consists of some great air purifiers, but finding the right Honeywell filter for the model you bought a couple of years ago is sometimes a real drag. But if you go about it the right way, your search for the right Honeywell filter can be painless –well, almost :)

What you need is the Honeywell filter number, which unfortunately is not the same as the model number. The reason for this is that different models use the same filter.

Go to Allergybegone.com or Amazon.com, both have a great selection of replacement filters, and key in the model number in the search box. You will very likely be presented with several hits, and chances are one of those is the Honeywell filter for your model air purifier.

If only the air purifier itself shows up, then drill down to the product description, and you’ll find the Honeywell filter number. With this in hand you can either place an order somewhere online, or buy the Honeywell filter from your dealer.

Be wary of purchasing look-alike Honeywell filters. They may not fit properly, and especially with HEPA filters greatly reduce filtering performance. Good luck!
