Bionaire – a tradition of innovation

Bionaire, a Canadian company, introduced it’s first ionizer air purifier in 1977. Since then Bionaire have expanded their product range to include other types of air purifier, warm mist and cool mist humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and more recently, heaters and fans.

Bionaire is now a well known name in the industry, and prides itself on it’s research and development effort with the aim to continue it’s tradition of innovation.

Whilst in the beginning Bionaire relied on air ionizers, to clean the air, their units now also include HEPA filters, and activated carbon filters.

The HEPA filters are 99.97 percent effective in trapping extremely tiny particles (as small as .03 microns) and removing pollen, dust, animal dander, dust mites, and molds from the air.

The activated charcoal filter traps from the air over 4000 chemical substances and noxious odors, and nicely complements the HEPA filter.

Bionaire air purifiers employ a new type of HEPA filter and a completely redesigned fan system, making it at least as quiet as other units in the same price bracket.

You can choose from a range of Bionaire purifiers that vary in capacity from 100 square feet to 488 square feet, so one can match the right size air purifier to any particular room.

Another nice feature of Bionaire’s air purifiers is that they are quite slim so they can be placed unobtrusively against a wall.
