Hunter air purifier filters – easy to replace them in time by ordering online!

Hunter manufactures two distinct lines of Hunter air purifiers – the QuietFlow line, and their so called HEPAtech line of air purifiers.

The Hunter HEPAtech system does not rely on HEPA filters, but uses a combination of cleaning technologies to keep the indoor air clean. The only filter that you may have to replace regularly are the charcoal filters.
However, you can save money if you are not concerned about odors in the house, as that is what these optional charcoal filters are used for.

The QuietFlow air purifiers are actually air purifiers that use HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arresting) filters, and these Hunter air purifier filters do have to be replaced regularly.

Some people claim that HEPA filters become more efficient with time. They reason that as the Hunter air purifier filter fills up, it will trap even smaller particulates.

This is simply not the case because the way a HEPA filter works is not by trapping a particle in between the fibers – like catching a fish in a net. Rather, the air flow will slip around the fibers, but because the particles can not change direction so quickly, they will hit the fibres and keep sticking to it.

Also, as the Hunter air purifier filter fills up, it will actually start to reintroduce some of the pollutants back into the air. Furthermore, HEPA filters tend to hold moisture, which acts as a breeding ground for mold, and this mold will eventually end up in the air.

An old HEPA filter can also hurt the hip pocket, as well as the ears.

You see, the more a HEPA filter clogs up, the harder the machine has to work to pull the air through the Hunter air purifier filter, the more electricity it will consume, and the noisier the machine will become.
